Torben Skjødt Jensen was born 1958 in Ålborg, studied movies from 1978-1981 at Copenhagen University. Torben Skjødt Jensen had his video-debut at Det Danske Videoværksted in 1983. He cofounded in 1984 the productioncompany ATC and later the productioncompany Englefilm.

Torben was one of the pioneers experimenting with video-art in the 80's, and during this period he produced more than 100 musicvideos.
