Scott Sidney Nacido Harry Wilbur Siggins el 27 de abril de 1874 en el condado de Warren, Pennsylvania, EE.UU. Falleció el 20 de julio de 1928 mientras visitaba Londres, a los 56 años de un ataque al corazón.

Biografía
Director estadounidense, originalmente un artista en los circuitos de acciones y vodevil, especialmente el circuito Mittenthal Bros. Apareció con su esposa Josephine Foy en un espectáculo de vodevil titulado "El inspector". Descubierto en este programa por el productor Thomas H. Ince, Sidney ingresó en las películas aproximadamente en 1913 como intérprete y rápidamente fue promovido a dirigir películas. Se involucró en la producción como propietario minoritario de Christie Film Company.
