Damir Lukacevic (born March 27, 1966 in Zagreb , Yugoslavia ) is a German film director of Croatian origin.
As a four-year-old, Damir Lukacevic came to Germany with his parents and was already shooting Super 8 films during his school days. After completing his high school diploma in Stuttgart, he took a journalism studies and realized a few short films.
From 1993 to 1999 he completed an education at the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin in the fields of director, script, dramaturgy and acting.
Lukacevic has already received several awards, including the German Short Film Prize Goldenes Band für Fremde Heimat and the title of the " Extraordinary Value for the Game of the Day". Both films have the Yugoslavian war on the subject.
The book of the science fiction film Transfer (2010) is based on a story of the Spanish author Elia Barceló . Transfer is about the dream of eternal life, the loss of identity and the loss of identity as well as the gap between rich and poor, white and black, a modern doctor-fist story of the 21st century . In the main roles: Mehmet Kurtulus , Jeanette Hain , Ingrid Andree , Hans-Michael Rehberg and the American actors Regine Nehy and B. J. Britt.
