Otis Turner (2)

Otis Turner (Fairfield , 29 de noviembre de 1862 - Los Ángeles, 28 de marzo de 1918) fue un director, guionista y productor de cine estadounidense.

Biografía
Comenzó a trabajar en el cine a los 46 años, dirigiendo su primera película en 1908, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, que fue la primera adaptación cinematográfica de la novela de Stevenson.

En su carrera, que duró menos de 10 años, dirigió 135 películas entre 1908 y 1917. Escribió 40 y produjo 6. En 1908 protagonizó una de sus películas y, en 1914, fue asistente de dirección de Herbert Brenon para Neptune.

Retirado en 1917, murió el 28 de marzo del año siguiente en Los Ángeles a la edad de 55 años. wiki
