Welcome to the world of Will Holland, a 24 year old with quite a lot to shout about. A man with a fantastic drive an passion for all things music, and without doubt one of the brightest, and most influential young starts in the scene today. Will first came to prominence in 2003 after several busy years playing around the UK, which culminated in him making debut appearances at UK Superclubs Passion and Goodgreef, after which his gig diary began to fill at a rapid rate. Will then began producing and his acclaimed debut release Summer Breeze / Roccata fired him further into the limelight with numerous plays on the UKs national station Radio One and support from the worlds DJ elite. From there things took off for Will, who has gone on to rock the UKs biggest clubs such as Gatecrasher, Slinky, Passion, Goodgreef and Wildchild on a regular basis, whist his tracks and remixes have been signed to the biggest labels of the scene such as Bonzai and Platipus and are regularly found in the sets of likes of Paul van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, Ferry Corsten and so on. He has been credited for his spellbinding sets, Smooth technical mixing (Passion Newsletter) and has an excellent ear for quality music. He has subsequently been tipped by Mixmag as One to Watch and gained Future Hero status. Towards the end of 2005, will unleashed Timeless, a vocal monster that went on to be one of the tunes of the year, and received a lot of attention from a certain Mr. van Buuren, who played it 4 times on his Radio Show and featured it on his 2005 Yearmix compilation. To this day the track is still picking up compilation licenses, a true testament to the modern day classic it has become. Not content with just making and playing music, Will started as A&R for Monster Tunes, the largest label group in the UK, and began signing records that went on to become anthems in their own right, and following this success Will founded Enhanced Recordings. Now regarded as one of the leading new imprints of the scene, Will has amassed a group of wonderful young talent and more established artists to create a label with consistent high quality and a forward thinking approach to the direction of the music today. The label has spawned 4 sub labels; Enhanced Progressive, Enhanced Limited, Enhanced Black and Enhanced Digital and has received glowing support from the music media and is supported my every major DJ of the scene. Now, just 18 months since the first release, Will is about to release the labels debut compilation; Digitally Enhanced- Volume One. A double CD compilation mixed by Will, and featuring 100% Enhanced material, thats causing quite a stir before it has even hit the shops, after Mixmag announced it to be their Compilation of the Month for October 2006; a fantastic achievement for this young label and artist. Amongst all this, somehow, Will managed to achieve a 2:1 in his Event Management Degree and a 1st in his dissertation The Changing Face of the UK Superclub. After running events for several companies during the four year course and gaining an excellent understanding for the industry and a sound education, Will was snapped up by the worlds most influential club brand Gatecrasher upon completing his degree, to front their Promotions from the world famous Gatecrasher One in Sheffield. Now, almost 12 months on, Will has run consistent sell out events featuring the cream of the worlds DJing talent, including Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Above & Beyond, Judge Jules, Erick Morillo, Roger Sanchez and many more. 2006 has also seen the development of Wills international dates, with a string of bookings for Gatecrasher, Cream and Wildchild in Ibiza, plus other European appearances including the United in Trance event at the Asta in Holland. Wills radio commitments have also increased, after ending a 4 year long residency on LSR FM in the UK, his Enhanced Recordings Show on DI.FM (now in its second year) has now been syndicated to ETN.fm, Paul van Dyks Voync Radio and Trance Mixers Radio. The show attracts thousands of listeners from around the world and have amassed Will an army of international fans. Will has also made several guest appearances on the UKs largest Dance station Galaxy FM, and featured on Above and Beyonds Trance Around the World Show.2006 has also seen Will in the running at the Tranceawards, after being shortlisted in the poll for Best Mixmag Future Hero, which was eventually won by Andy Moor. After 2 very successful collaborations with Enhanced Recordings artist Activa, on the Paul van Dyk championed Amnesia and a remix for Apollonia which made Future Favourite on Above and Beyonds TATW, Will has been busy with a string of remixes, collaborations and the highly anticipated follow up to Timeless which will all appear towards the end of 2006. In 2007 Enhanced will hit the road, with major club events already lined up, so watch this space on those as there bound to rock! All in all, things are looking particularly rosy for this very talented 24 year old keep an eye out for him, he will be appearing in a club, a magazine or a radio near you soon!
