Mat3D is a general multi-pier mat foundation analysis/design tool that completes soil or pile supported foundation with minimal input. It is equipped with the following features:

o Considers wide beam shear and punching shear in footing/pile cap design
o Provides positive and negative moment reinforcement in the footings/pile caps
o Provides multiple choices of footing rebar arrangement
o Allows the user to change the footing rebar size and spacing
o Accepts anchor bolt arrangement on piers for display on sketches and construction drawing
o Generates material quantities
o Creates user-specified sections through the piers and the mat on the fly
o Generates detailed design sketches of foundation plan, elevations and sections through the pier showing reinforcement
o Interfaces with Autocad and Microstation to produce detailed construction drawings
o Generates a summarized and a detailed input and output report
o Provides you the ability to bring design sketches into Microsoft Word or Excel
