* Arte de ingenio (1642, (potem wydana jako: Agudeza y arte de ingenio w 1648),esej o literaturze i estetyce.
* El discreto (1646) - charakterystyka zalet jakimi powinien odznaczać się człowiek światowy.
* Oráculo manual y arte de prudencia ("Wyrocznia podręczna i sztuka roztropności", 1647), zbiór 300 aforyzmów i komentarzy do nich. Na język polski przetłumaczona dokładnie 300 lat potem, w 1947.
* El Criticón (1651-1657) - przetłumaczył ją na język angielski jako (The Critic) Sir Paul Rycaut w 1681.
* El Comulgatorio (1655) - jedyne dzieło podpisane własnym nazwiskiem, inne wydawał jako Lorenzo Gracián (tak nazywał się jego brat) lub jako Gracía de Marlones (pseudonim).
