Charles Lamont (5 de mayo de 1895 - 12 de septiembre de 1993) fue un prolífico cineasta, dirigiendo más de 200 títulos y produciendo y escribiendo muchos otros. Nacido en California, Lamont nació en San Francisco y murió en Los Ángeles.

Carrera
Algunos de los primeros encargos de Lamont como director fueron comedias cortas mudas para Educational Pictures. Una de las series populares del estudio fue "Comedias Juveniles", presentando al niño actor Malcolm "Big Boy" Sebastian. Lamont dirigió algunas de estas películas, así como algunas de las comedias de su personaje competidor "Buster Brown" lanzado por Universal Pictures.
