The Paralogue is a series of transitory game builds serving as a full scale upgrade of Fallen Doll and a concept prototype of Fallen Doll's sequel. As a frontier research and military base revolving Yuggoth, the newly discovered Kuiper belt dwarf planet unbeknownst to human race until late 21 century, Archimedes orbital station harbors a pair of sentient military AI mainframes which can project their sentience unto any synthetic body with a positronic brain: Erika (Electronic Recon-Infiltration Combat Agent) and Alet (Assault-Type Lite).​

Alet, the Sentinel
Autonome Leibwächter Einheit Testmodell, commonly referred to as Alet, was the most advanced security android deployed by German police department for reliability and performance test. Quiet, stalwart, pretty and approachable, she quickly gained the love of people and became the Bereitschaftspolizei's mascot.
However, as the prototype model Alet sometimes found it difficult to harness her superhuman strength. In a riot control mission more than a dozen protesters suffered concussion and bone fractures from her shield bash, the fact that the protest being an anti-AI demonstration did not make the situation any easier. The Neo-Luddists branded her the evidence of technology gone haywire and fiercely demanded the she be dismantled and examined. Under public pressure Alet was suspended and later reassigned to Sicherheitswacht for plainclothes school safety patrol.
Alet spent a few years peacefully on campus and did not reveal her identity as a robot. In her off duty time she always stayed in the library alone and was nicknamed "the reading beauty" by enamored college boys.
Until one day, a glamorous girl with a ponytail came to her carrying a transfer order...

Anya, the Overseer
To the AI operators in S.P.E.S (Special Purpose Emergency Squad), Dr. Anya is a lady of mystery - little is known about her past, relationship, or even full name. Despite displaying impeccable professionalism and well composed personality, Anya never sheds much light on her history and dodges questions skillfully - even when she's drunk. DMAIC's dossier depicts her as an up-and-coming research associate of Miskatonic University with phds in cosmology, neuroscience and applied physics, but in the eyes of her colleagues she always has a trick up her sleeve and possesses vast knowledge in almost every field - too vast for a woman of her age.
The forth Conférence de La Haye made it international law that any sentient AI combatant's tactical action against potential human targets must be supervised by one or more human overseers to ensure a minimal level of violence. As the only eligible personnel retaining sanity after the dream of madness struck the Neo England colony, Anya reluctantly took command.
Anya is the player character in Operation Lovecraft. You are charged with leading a task force of sentient military cyberdolls to suppress the riot on Yuggoth and investigate the trace of eldritch horrors. She is also happy to oblige if the player decides to conduct biological research on the specimens in the flesh, or develop more intimate relationship with the team.

Yuggoth is rich with Tok'l metal - a rare natural room temperature superconducting mineral rumored to be extracted by the indigenous but extinct alien race, Mi-Go.
Acknowledging the scientific and commercial value of the ground breaking discovery, DMAIC immediately launched a prospecting campaign and set out to establish a mining colony on Yuggoth. Providence PMC Deep Space Security Department was later commissioned to safeguard the operation after a portion of miners went raving mad upon hearing unspeakable whispers in their dream.
Notwithstanding the superior military equipment, they eventually succumbed to the insanity inducing dreams. S.P.E.S, a rapid reaction team consisted of AI driven cyberdolls was successively dispatched to suppress the riot and investigate the source of anomaly.
