Nuklear is said to be the first instrument that integrates pulsar synthesis (Curtis Roads) into the environment of a modern synthesizer.

In its four oscillators the wave length can be set independently from the pitch which itself is determined by the repetition rate of the waveform. Subsequent pulses are dispersed into the stereo field by the "width" parameter, "phase" sets the distance of pulse pairs. Additionally, a micro sequencer allows for the creation of pulse patterns.

A "pulsar" parameter is introduced which makes it possible to fade between pulsar synthesis and classic synthesis. This innovative synthesis engine leads to new and previously unheard sounds, especially in combination with the flexible modulation matrix. Among others, LFOs, envelopes and control sequences can act as modulation sources.

The mixer and the filters with resonance close to self oscillation and flexible routing as well as delay, distortion and ring modulation embed this "revolutionary" sound generator in a subtractive environment. The complex sequencer completes Nuklear.

Czy istnieje wtyczkowa emulacja charakterystyczne brzmienie super piły pochodzącej z syntezatora Roland JP-8000? Odpowiedź brzmi: tak - a mowa o wtyczce JP6K produkcji Adama Szabo. Głównym celem producenta było uchwycenie specyfiki zachowania pierwowzoru. Pomimo upływu ponad 15 lat brzmienia Super Saw są stale poszukiwane przez twórców muzyki trance. Powróćmy do roku 1999 kiedy to muzyka trance królowała w stacjach muzycznych (MTV czy VIVA). Na parkietach królował Paul van Dyk, Chicane.... ciepłe trancowe kawałki z potężną dawką epickich melodii. Dziś nie musimy inwestować w Rolanda JP-8000. Wszystko za sprawą doskonałej emulacji JP6K. Ktoś powie, przecież wtyczek emulujących klasyczne brzmienia Rolanda jest wiele.

Należy pamiętać, że typowe brzmienie super saw cechuje surowy charakter. Brzmienie z Rolanda JP-8000 jest czyste, ciepłe. W jaki sposób Adam Szabo osiągnał zamierzony efekt? Zastosował odpowiedni górnoprzepustowy filtr usuwający niepożądane częstotliwości nadając brzmieniom Super Saw odpowiedniego charakteru.

Emulacja JP6K cechuje się 32-głosową polifonią, brzmieniem generowanym w oparciu o dwa oscylatory Super Saw (górny oraz dolny), jeden oscylator typu noise, wbudowanym equalizerem oraz modułem delay, trzema niezależnymi jednostkami LFO, kontrolującymi filtr, wzmocnienie oraz odstrojenie (pitch). Wtyczka została zoptymalizowana pod kątem minimalnego zapotrzebowania na cykle procesora, stąd też stosowanie wielu instancji na raz nie powinno być przeszkodą w czerpaniu jeszcze większej radości (tutaj ze stosowania brzmień warstwowych)
