obrazekobrazekKryminał oparty na książce szeryfa Davida Reicherta ukazujący historię prawdziwego śledztwa w sprawie jednego z najgroźniejszych seryjnych zabójców - Gary'ego Ridgwaya. W latach 80. ubiegłego wieku zamordował ponad 50 kobiet (a o drugie tyle go podejrzewano), w większości prostytutek, albo też nieletnich uciekinierek z domu. Grasował w Seattle. Poszukiwania psychopaty prowadzi szeryf Dave Reichert (Tom Cavanagh). Jako, że Ridgway (John Pielmeier) zwłoki podrzuca zawsze w kilku wybranych miejscach, m.in. nad brzegiem Green River, stąd media nadały mu przydomek Zabójca znad Green River. Mimo intensywnego śledztwa dusiciel (bo tak najczęściej uśmiercał swoje ofiary) przez lata pozostaje nieuchwytny...
TV Mini-Series - Biography | Drama | Crime
A pair of girls seeking adventure beyond the their Western Washington trailer park encounter the area's most ruthless serial killer. Based on Sheriff David Reichert's book, "Chasing the: My Twenty-Year Quest to Capture the Green River Killer.
Over nearly 20 years, Det. Dave Reichert of the King's County Sheriff's Department investigated a series of brutal murders by a serial killer who became known as the Green River Killer after the location where some of his early victims were found. All the victims were women involved in prostitution. The police used the tools available at the time including an FBI profiler. They even interviewed serial killer Ted Bundy who was on death row at the time and offered his insight into the killer. Several men came under suspicion and were interviewed at length and at one point, Reichert was convinced he knew the identity of the killer. It was not until DNA matching came into being that they had the evidence to proceed. The killer eventually admitted to killing 71 women.
Stars: Tom Cavanagh, Currie Graham, Amy Davidson
