Vladimir Pervunenskiy was born in 1957.

Graduated from the painting-graphics department of the Omsk Pedagogical College in 1985. Graduated from the Moscow State Institute of Painting of V.I.Surikov in 1989. Participated in All-Union, republican and Moscow exhibitions; in the Urals Exhibition which was held in Kurgan (1992), in the exhibitions 'Landscape of Russia' (1989), 'The Memorials of the Motherland' (1990, 1991). Works of Vladimir Pervunenskiy are in private collections of Russia, the European Union and the USA. The painter has found specific, typical only of him, image-bearing system of vision of the native nature and his own subject in scenery-anthropogenic landscape. The profound master managed to see the dialectical unity of results of people's activity and the life of tender nature, their common creative life. The method of reproduction of light and air surroundings, the color elements of free touches make the painter similar to the impressionists. But here «the impression» spreads in time almost to the eternity, «the state» grows to the proportions of myth. And this myth is permeated with the poetics of northern sun-light, a gloomy day and mystery of twilight.
The artist pointed large member of works devoted to old Moscow. His urban landscapes have a mark of nostalgia and that is why they are slightly idealistic. The amazing plastic expressiveness and considered composition are subordinated to the main idea which is a calm talk of the painter with the soul of the city still not worn out by the history wheel.
