The humor follows the everyday lives of four high school girls, and picks up when Usami Hajime (Oohashi Ayumu) and her friend Arima Sayo (Katou Emiri) enter Nagashima High. Joining a club is mandatory, so the two of them look around for the “Go Home Club”, i.e. no club, and stumble upon the “Traditional Arts & Crafts Preservation Club”. Confused, they decide to take a peek and meet vice president Chousokabe Aya (Satou Kanami), who specializes in writing omikuji, and Sassa Maria, a.k.a. Tsumayouji-san (Omigawa Chiaki), who makes toothpicks. It turns out all the club members are carrying on their families’ trade skills, some of which are pointless in modern day like in Maria’s case. Bewildered by their seriousness, Hajime decides to join and takes Sayo with her, much to the latter’s dismay.
