A Wonderful Christmas Time Poster
Two weeks before Christmas, Noel is left home alone in Porthcawl, a sleepy seaside town in South Wales, and dumped by his long term girlfriend for another guy; a taller and more rugged alternative. Faced with the unknown, he turns to primal scream therapy with his self-taught therapist Simon and retreats to the past, reminiscing with his old school pal Steve. A chance encounter with Cherie, a disillusioned actress who has returned home to reflect on her past and present to begin a more fulfilled life, leads Noel to open up and share his passions. Their shared love of music, eighties movies, and all things Christmas encourages a celebratory spirit, and the possibility of a Happy New Year. Will the insecurities of recent breakups, seasonal intoxication, and miscommunication conspire to ruin their fun or will they simply have a Wonderful Christmas Time?

A husband, wife and their two daughters take a Christmas break at a lodge in the woods. There's evident tension between the couple. He's pulled by attention to his corporation and negotiations about a merger. Even on their vacation he's on the phone. She's feeling abandoned. He takes her on a light plane flight to a cabin across the lake, but their plane suddenly loses altitude. They crash into the lake before they can notify anyone. The husband is more seriously hurt but with his wife's assistance they navigate cross-country towards a distant highway.. While they struggle to cross a ridge, the husband's business partner moves behind the scenes to sell the company to raiders, apparently assuming Frank is dead. Attacked by rogue wolves, the husband and wife are rescued in the nick of time. The FAA begins an investigation of the plane crash while the family begins to heal the emotional and physical wounds.

America is in the midst of the Depression, and the Kamp family is struggling to get by, especially after Mrs. Kamp's untimely death. Now little Ruthie, with her mother gone and her father overwhelmed by doctor bills resulting from her brother s polio, expects another Christmas without presents or festivities. But when her father brings home one dollar in change and lets the children use it to buy special gifts for each other, the Kamps come to find that money isn't what fills Christmas with joy, love, and miracles.
It's the Great Depression, and the Kamp family has struggled since Mrs. Kamps untimely death. The older children do their best to take care of the family, but the younger children, Hopalong Cassidy fan Norman, and straight talking little Ruthie struggle most with a bleak looking future. Now, with their father facing mounting debts resulting from Norman's battle with polio, the siblings expect a Christmas without presents. But when father scrapes together a dollar to use for gifts, things change. As each child comes up with a special gift to give another member of the family, they soon begin to see many of their dearest wishes come true. Perhaps a boy who struggles to walk can become a real cowboy after all.

With her daughter losing faith in the holiday, Wendy realizes she must bring the true meaning of Christmas back to Wolmans before it is too late.
