Jackson uznawany jest za tego, który zrewolucjonizował muzyczne klipy, tworząc z nich
spektakularne miniprodukcję. Osławiony już "Thriller" w reżyserii Johna Landisa, stał
się kulturowym fenomenem. Jako jedyny teledysk trafił do Biblioteki Kongresu jako część National Film Registry - listy produkcji budujących dziedzictwo kulturowe USA w dziedzinie film.
Wśród wizjonerskich dzieł artysty znalazły się również "Black or White" także Landisa czy "Bad", za którego kamerą stanął Martin Scorsese. Z muzykiem współpracowali również inni cenieni reżyserzy, w tym John Singleton, Spike Lee i David Fincher. Ponadto we współpracy z siostra Janet oraz Markiem Romankiem, Jackson nakręcił najdroższy dotąd teledysk w historii - "Scream", którego realizacja w 1995 roku kosztowała 7 milionów dolarów.

Michael Jackson's Vision is deluxe DVD box set released on November 22, 2010. It includes three DVDs, featuring 4.5 hours of content of 42 music videos by Michael Jackson, with newly restored color and remastered audio. A short introduction to each video is shown before they begin. According to a statement by the producers, the video recognises Jackson's "pioneering short films that transformed the entertainment industry with timeless, pop culture classics". Michael Jackson's Vision includes the full-length versions of the John Landis-directed "Thriller" and "Black or White" as well as the classic "Bad" directed by Academy Award winning filmmaker Martin Scorsese. Also included in the boxed set are Michael’s collaborations with such other noted film directors as John Singleton, Spike Lee and David Fincher as well as "Ghosts", his rarely-seen collaboration with special effects legend Stan Winston. Michael Jackson's Vision will be available in a limited edition deluxe boxed set featuring a 60-page glossy hard-bound book that includes behind-the-scenes photos from Michael's personal archives.
*** Ten music videos previously unavailable on DVD including "One More Chance" are included.
It was also released on the iTunes Store and features iTunes LP features.
*** The videos "Smooth Criminal", "Leave Me Alone", "Come Together", and "Speed Demon" come from Jackson's 1988 film Moonwalker. The "Smooth Criminal" segment is actually over 40 minutes long but only the 10 minute song and dance scene is featured.
*** Some music videos have been changed and are different from their original release.
- "Bad" – included in the end are the credits
- "The Way You Make Me Feel" – grunts and extra noises made by Michael can be heard although in some parts of the video it becomes very grainy
- "Smooth Criminal" – this version comes from the Moonwalker film but cuts out most of the time when there is no music playing
- "Black or White" – is the original version without the racist graffiti added on to the car windows and shop door
- "In the Closet" – during the middle of the video a green flash can be briefly seen
- "Heal the World" – has an added intro that can be seen on Dangerous – The Short Films
- "Will You Be There" – a few seconds of the audio at the beginning is missing and the ending is different to the one previously released, as there is no angel flying down to Michael, instead he sings on his own
- "Gone Too Soon" – is the version found on Michael Jackson's YouTube page and not the one previously released as seen on Dangerous – The Short Films
- "Scream" – the part where Michael says 'fucking' is kept in
- "You Are Not Alone" – is the original version without scenes where Michael is naked with wings on his back
- "Blood on the Dance Floor" – the Refugee Camp Remix version of the song is used, instead of the original
- "Ghosts" – is the five minute edit of the movie with the same name
- "Can You Feel It" – has the credits included in the end
- "They Don't Care About Us" (Prison version) – has a disclaimer at the beginning, plus different scenes than those first broadcasted on TV, such as Michael making hand gestures.
- "Billie Jean"- if you look closely on other Michael Jackson DVDs or on TV you'll see a lighting bolt pop up on Michael's Feet during the dancing scene but on Vision the lighting bolt dosen't show up
