During a jewelry store robbery on Halloween one of the three perpetrators, a pregnant girl, is wounded and the trio seek help at the home-based office of a doctor who convinces her two male companions to leave her in his care. The men flee only to discover that the stolen diamonds, which they desperately need to deliver and which they carried into the doctor's office, have disappeared. They return to retrieve the jewels before help can arrive for the doctor and his family, but the diamonds are nowhere to be found. By the time they turn up, in the most unlikely of places, the doctor and his family turn the tables on the gang in a surprising confrontation.
