ComboFix is one of the top, free anti-malware tools for Microsoft® Windows®. Although it doesn't have a shiny interface and was often identified as a security tool for advanced users (the general recommendation is to avoid running ComboFix, unless a security expert request this or use it only as a last resort - when all the other security tools have failed) it has a great malware detection rate.
Once you start and run the program, it will detect and remove infections automatically. It will detect adware, spyware, trojans, rootkits, worms and other malware related infections. The tool can run automatically on both 32-bit and 64-bit OS.
Important: This program doesn't run on Windows® 2000 and 8.1. Please note that during the scan, the existing files in the following locations will be automatically deleted: Recycle Bin, temporary Internet files, and Temp Folder.
Note: ComboFix is a legit, traditional anti-malware program developed by sUBs (a security expert). Make sure that you download this software from a reputable and safe location. Some users downloaded the program from websites that distributed an infected version or attempted to sell it.
