Kim Gordon przy okazji swojej płyty The Collective stała się tematem numer jeden dla prasy muzycznej. A jej występ na tegorocznym Open’erze ogłoszono niemal jednocześnie z premierą albumu. Po raz kolejny nagrywa solo i po raz kolejny we współpracy z Justinem Raisenem jako producentem. Ponownie w dość hałaśliwej, mocnej, ale zarazem inspirowanej hip-hopem konwencji. Takiej ekspozycji doczekałaby się pewnie grupa Sonic Youth, gdyby istniała. Tymczasem nowe nagrania basistki i wokalistki tej formacji skonfrontujemy z wydanym właśnie koncertowym albumem SY zatytułowanym Walls Have Ears. Zawiera on rejestracje wczesnych występów zespołu z 1985 r. Stąd już tylko krok do muzyki improwizowanej – posłuchamy też m.in. fragmentu albumu gitarzysty Dave’a Harringtona (połowa duetu Darkside) z perkusistą Maxem Jaffe i saksofonistą Patrickiem Shiroishim oraz fragmentu nowej płyty Amirthy Kidambi. Ta ostatnia jeszcze przedpremierowo. Zapraszamy do słuchania nas w Trójce we wtorek od 23.00. Też będziemy improwizować, próbując to wszystko (i jeszcze więcej) zmieścić.
