Plot
Cheech & Chong are on a mission to siphon gasoline for their next door neighbor's car, which they apparently "borrowed," and continue with their day; Cheech goes to work at a movie studio and Chong searches for something to smoke (a roach), followed by him revving up an indoor motorcycle and playing extremely loud rock music with an electric guitar that disturbs the entire neighborhood. Cheech gets fired from his job and they go to see Donna, a welfare officer and Cheech's girlfriend. Cheech successfully seduces Donna, under her objections, and gets her in trouble with her boss. The doped-up duo are expelled from the building and, in an attempt to find alternative means of income start writing songs like, "Mexican Americans" and "Beaners."..

Plot

Filmed at Pinewood Studios and the surrounding areas in Buckinghamshire, England, The Watcher in the Woods was one of several live-action films produced by Walt Disney Productions in the 1980s, when the studio was targeting young adult audiences. The film had its premiere at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City in April 1980, but was pulled from release after ten days, and future screenings were canceled by the studio due to an overwhelming negative response from critics and audiences. Several changes were made thereafter, including the excision of a pre-credits sequence, as well the filming of an entirely new ending, which was directed by Vincent McEveety without Hough's involvement. Disney re-released the revised cut of the film on October 9, 1981, and it grossed $5 million.

Plot
Americans Helen and Paul Curtis and their daughters, Jan and Ellie, move into a manor in rural England. Mrs. Aylwood, the owner of the residence who now lives in the guest house next door, notices that Jan bears a striking resemblance to her daughter, Karen, who disappeared inside an abandoned chapel in the woods thirty years earlier.

Jan senses something unusual about the property almost immediately, and begins to see strange blue lights in the woods, triangles, and glowing objects. On one occasion, she sees the apparition of a blindfolded girl in a mirror in front of her. Shortly after the family settles in, Ellie goes to buy a puppy she inexplicably names "Nerak". After seeing the reflection of the name "Nerak" (Karen spelled backwards), Jan is told about the mystery of Mrs. Aylwood's missing daughter by Mike Fleming, the teenage son of a local woman, Mary...

Plot
The farming world Akir is threatened by the tyrannical warlord Sador (John Saxon), who rules the sinister Malmori Empire and, his body parts deteriorating, is capturing and appropriating them from others. Sador's huge dreadnought, the Hammerhead, mounts a "Stellar Converter", a weapon that turns planets into small stars. He demands that the peaceful Akira submit to him when he returns in "seven risings of your red giant", or he will turn his Stellar Converter on their planet. Zed (Jeff Corey), last of the famous Akira Corsairs, is old and nearly blind. He suggests they hire mercenaries to protect their world. Since Akir lacks valuable resources, its people can offer just food and shelter in payment. Unable to go in person, Zed offers his ship for the job if they can find a pilot. The ship is fast and well-armed, but, despite its AI navigation/tactical computer Nell, cannot defeat Sador alone. Shad (Richard Thomas), a young man who has piloted the ship and is well known to Nell, volunteers for the recruiting mission...

John Saxon as Sador, leader of the evil Malmori raiders, is very old and keeps himself alive using transplants to renew his body. His character is similar to the character of Calvera from The Magnificent Seven.
George Peppard as Space Cowboy, the only character from Earth, who is defined by his many one-liners and who becomes Shad's good friend.
Darlanne Fluegel as Nanelia, Dr. Hephaestus' beautiful daughter and Shad's love interest.
Sybil Danning as Saint-Exmin, a Valkyrie warrior looking to prove herself in battle.
Sam Jaffe as Dr. Hephaestus, an old man on life support, who wants grandchildren to inhabit his space station.

Plot
In the future, pregnancy is outlawed, and citizens are required to engage in loveless sex and narcotics are used to ensure happiness in the population. Babies are created in the lab, and every child's future is predestined into one of five classes.

While most people are happy to retain this established order, including Thomas Grambell (Keir Dullea), a supervisor of human "hatcheries," resistance is growing, as evidenced by quirky malcontent Bernard Marx (Bud Cort) and other rebels.

Bernard and his girlfriend Lenina Disney (Marcia Strassman) go to a primitive reservation which holds to 20th century values, and while there meet a native named John (also called the Savage) (Kristoffer Tabori). They return with him to civilization, and his presence further upends conventional thinking. John is seen as a freak and this grants him some degree of celebrity. John develops romantic feelings for Lenina, which are considered highly inappropriate, bordering on the obscene...

Production
Originally 4 hours long, it was cut down to three hours before being televised.[5] Brave New World was directed by Burt Brinckerhoff[5] for Universal Television and first shown on NBC on 7 March 1980.[1][6] The screen adaptation was written by Doran William Cannon.[6] It was filmed in Universal City, California.

Awards
The miniseries was nominated for three Emmy Awards, Outstanding Art Direction for a Limited Series or Special, and Outstanding Cinematography for a Limited Series or Special, as well as costume design and set decoration.

Plot
Hangar 18 is about a cover-up following a UFO incident aboard the Space Shuttle. A satellite, just launched from the orbiter, collides with an unidentified object which, after being spotted on radar moving at great speeds, had positioned itself just over the shuttle. The collision kills an astronaut in the launch bay. The events are witnessed by Bancroft and Price, the astronauts aboard. After returning to Earth, the two are immediately stymied when they try to discuss what happened. They are told by Harry Forbes, Deputy Director of NASA, that "everything is going to be all right".

After making a controlled landing in the Arizona desert, the damaged alien spacecraft has been recovered, taken to an air force base in Texas and installed inside Hangar 18 where scientists and other technicians, headed by Harry Forbes, can study it. Due to an impending presidential election, government officials are anxious that there be no chance of the press or the public getting an inkling of this event...

Plot
Beaty (Mirren) is a prostitute working at a London cabaret where Emory (John Shea) is a sound/lighting technician. They begin an affair encumbered by Beaty's job as a call girl. They eventually fall in love, but predictably he grows increasingly uncomfortable with her line of work. In addition Emory has a bit of a dark secret from his past involving the accidental death of his then-wife. To further complicate things, Beaty has shared custody of a young son.

Eventually a pair of unsavory characters from each of the lovers' pasts shows up and further endangers their love. Emory's gay friend Max (Murray Salem) arrives and wants to cut Emory in on an upcoming drug deal. He is simultaneously foppish, arrogant and abrasive. Beaty's abusive former lover, the father of her son and possibly her pimp is Alex (Paul Angelis), a strong-arm gorilla type fresh out of prison also arrives, needing a place to stay. Alex is clearly a brutish psychopath who threatens Beaty and Emory's future. Emory and Beaty's two past companions could not be more different, Max is sophisticated, articulate, stylish and outspoken. Alex is a working class English thug, quiet, simple and burning with violent rage. Beaty rebuffs Alex's desire to rekindle whatever they had and this enrages him. He does however agree to be part of Max and Emory's caper (believing it to be gun smuggling)...

Synopsis

A jaded pilot named Noah Dugan (Elliott Gould) is unemployed and owes a large amount of money due to his gambling. He goes to an old friend, Stoney (Vincent Gardenia), who owns an airfield. He is offered a job flying a cargo of animals to a remote South Pacific island aboard a B-29 bomber, a large plane well past its prime.[Note 1] Bernadette Lafleur (Geneviève Bujold) is the prim missionary who accompanies him. Bernadette has raised the animals at an orphanage and is close to two of the orphans, Bobby (Ricky Schroder) and Julie (Tammy Lauren).

Streszczenie
Młody malarz Sonny Malone (zarabiający jako kopista okładek płyt) postanawia zniszczyć własny, nowo namalowany obraz. Od tego pomysłu odwodzi go nieznajoma, młoda kobieta, o rozwianych blond włosach, która nieoczekiwanie zastąpiła mu drogę w parku. Dziewczyna bez słowa całuje go, a następnie znika. Obraz ocalał, a młody malarz nagle ma głowę pełną myśli i marzeń o nieznajomej, tajemniczej blondynce.

Sonny otrzymuje zlecenie zaprojektowania okładki płyty piosenkarce, która jest do złudzenia podobna do tajemniczej nieznajomej. Okazuje się nią Kira. Sonny zakochuje się w niej z wzajemnością. Kira ujawnia mu swoją tajemnicę, jest grecką muzą, która wraz z siostrami zstąpiła na Ziemię, aby inspirować artystów. Za sprawczą siłą muz Sonny reaktywuje (przy pomocy emerytowanego artysty Danny'ego McGuire) klub taneczny Xanadu.

Na otwarcie klubu powstaje widowisko taneczne na wrotkach. Kira ostrzega Sonny'ego, że jej pobyt na Ziemi zakończy się wraz z wykonaniem zadania. Muzy uczestniczące w tańcu finałowym w świetlistym tunelu ulatują na Olimp. Po chwili zrozpaczony Sonny odkrywa, że kelnerka obsługująca go jest sobowtórem Kiry.

Ciekawostki
Sam film nie stał się popularny, natomiast soundtrack z muzyką Electric Light Orchestry oraz piosenkami Olivii Newton-John uzyskały światową popularność (m.in. utwór Magic dotarł do 1 miejsca amerykańskiej listy przebojów[1])

Opis fabuły
Dwaj studenci David i Jack spędzają wakacje w Szkocji. Sypiają pod gołym niebem. Podczas jednej nocy zostają zaatakowani przez wilkołaka. Jack ginie, wilkołaka zabijają mieszkańcy pobliskiego miasteczka, David zostaje ciężko ranny. Trafia do szpitala. Zabity potwór wraca do ludzkiej formy, a lokalna ludność zaprzecza jego istnieniu. Davidowi śnią się koszmary. Dowiaduje się z nich, iż będzie musiał pomóc przyjacielowi (i nie tylko), który w wyniku nienaturalnej śmierci utknął między światami. Po kilku tygodniach odkrywa, że zmienia się w wilkołaka.

W roku 1995, w stulecie narodzin kina, obraz Hudsona znalazł się na watykańskiej liście 45 filmów fabularnych, które propagują szczególne wartości religijne, moralne lub artystyczne.

Fabuła
Bohaterami filmu są dwaj brytyjscy biegacze z lat 20. XX wieku, złoci medaliści olimpijscy z Paryża: Eric Liddell i Harold Abrahams, pochodzący z różnych warstw społecznych Zjednoczonego Królestwa. Różnią się nie tylko pochodzeniem, ale i motywacją ciężkich treningów. Abrahams, angielski Żyd, sukcesami sportowymi chce zyskać akceptację w ówczesnym hierarchicznym społeczeństwie, a Liddel, wywodzący się z rodziny szkockich misjonarzy prezbiteriańskich[2], jest rozdarty między posługą Bogu a zbytkownym sportem.

Rydwany ognia to opowieść o sportowej rywalizacji, o jej blaskach i cieniach. To także hołd złożony „czasom niewinności” w sporcie, nawet jeśli ukazuje hipokryzję ówczesnych zasad olimpijskich – zawodnik ma obowiązek startować i wygrywać dla swego kraju, nie może jednak zatrudnić trenera.
