Jim Fergesson i Al Miller znaleźli się na krawędzi. Pierwszy, zgorzkniały mechanik samochodowy, sprzedał swój warsztat z powodu choroby serca. Drugi, nieudolny sprzedawca używanych samochodów, który dzierżawił teren od Fergessona, musi sobie szukać nowego miejsca.
