An exploitive fate has it that a stripper is led to a salesmen, led to a babysitter, led to an adventuress, led to a woodcutter, led to a "nymph", led to a producer, led to "his Girl Friday", led to a hustler, led to the stripper.

Seom - The Isle.avi

Każdy akt przemocy, rodzi kolejny, jeszcze gwałtowniejszy i bardziej okrutny.

Chaesikjuuija (2009) aka Vegetarian.avi

A young housewife, finds herself having strange dreams that make her disgusted by meat, leading to trouble with her meat-loving husband and attention from her artist brother in law.

A Korean film has been selected to screen in competition at the Sundance Film Festival next month in Park City, Utah. Director Lim Woo-seong's psychological drama "Vegetarian" was selected from among 1,022 submissions to be one of 14 to compete in the World Cinema Narrative Competition section at the prestigious North American fest.

LIM's feature debut is based on a famous short story by Korean writer Han-gang, and revolves around a sensitive housewife who becomes vegetarian as her relationship with her husband deteriorates, culminating in a liaison with her sister's husband, an artist who paints bodies.

The film drew critical attention at its world premiere at the Pusan International Film Festival last October. Director LIM is currently completing his second feature, titled "Scar". Sundance is to take place January 21- 31, with new festival director John Cooper replacing longtime head, Geoffrey Gilmore.

Rolls Royce Baby.avi

Very rare non-Jess Franco Lina Romay film directed by Erwin Dietrich, Rolls Royce Baby carries a basic storyline, but its entire purpose is simply to marvel at the beauty and uninhibited abandon of the magnificent Ms. Romay, who has never looked as tantalisingly tempting as she does here. Roaming around gorgeous countryside in a chauffeur-driven vintage limousine, Lina drapes herself naked across the rear passenger upholstery, making herself available for any fortunate stray hiker the vehicle should happen to pass. Although a grim flashback scene involving a pair of unsavoury truck drivers towards the end offers a psychological explanation for Lina's nymphomania, this seems present merely to appease the conventional viewer who requires everything to be nicely spelled out, unable to handle such an abstract and star-focused approach to the art of film. For the remainder of us, this movie is like your favourite painting brought to life.

Jean-Claude Brisseau- A L'aventure.2009-KG.avi

A sexually unfulfilled young woman embarks on a series of graphic erotic encounters and becomes involved with a student of psychoanalysis who offers to put her under hypnosis. Yes, the notorious Jean-Claude Brisseau, director of The Exterminating Angels and Secret Things, is back with his latest provocation. Another idiosyncratic philosophical meditation on the enigmas of female sexuality, it features the director's latest discovery, Carole Brana. Pretentious smut for high-brows, a dirty old man's fantasies writ large, or a profound and daring exploration of society's sexual taboos? You decide.

Mago - Naked Paradise (2002).avi

She's the primal deity, the one, of the primordial goddess myth of Korea. Everyone wants a piece of her. Hey, leggo my Mago! She splits into twelve muses, naked women (don't ask, the whole story is told in hallucinogenic flashback anyway), and they romp around in paradise with early mankind. But as usual, someone grabs for the forbidden fruit (this time, yummy grapes), and pretty soon everyone is clubbing each other to death, which brings us pretty much up to the present day. MAGO is a plea for enviornmental awareness that plays like PINK FLOYD'S THE WALL as produced by Greenpeace. Symbolic of man's destruction of nature, each of the 12 muses, each a part of the original goddess, symbolize parts of nature, and one after another they commit suicide, drown, light themselves on fire, and are beaten, humiliated, and raped, by corrupt and brutal man. Amid the destruction, we are constantly reminded of lost paradise, which rather resembles a nudist colony, but without badminton or volleyball. Lots of nudity, interesting music video-like scenes, overly pretentious dialog, it all adds up to something spectacularly silly. Frustrate the serious filmmakers even more than they already are by seeing the movie not for its message, but for the widely reported 825 nudes that appear, including 100 women from Seoul college campuses.

Through the Looking Glass (1976).avi

If Fellini or Bunuel ever made a XXX porno it might look something like Through The Looking Glass. Surreal, genuinely suspenseful, filled with bizarro and sometimes disturbing sexual encounters, I can’t even imagine how poorly this film must have played to the average porn viewer walking in off the street for a quick wank. There’s no sex for about 20 minutes and the first “graphic” image you see is literally shot with a gynecological medical camera and a green arm.

Story of the Eye (2004).avi

In 1928, Georges Bataille published this first novel under a pseudonym, a legendary shocker that uncovers the dark side of the erotic by means of forbidden obsessive fantasies of excess and sexual extremes. A classic of pornographic literature, Story of the Eye finds the parallels in Sade and Nietzsche and in the investigations of contemporary psychology; it also forecasts Bataille's own theories of ecstasy, death and transgression which he developed in later work.
Only Georges Bataille could write, of an eyeball removed from a corpse, that "the caress of the eye over the skin is so utterly, so extraordinarily gentle, and the sensation is so bizarre that it has something of a rooster's horrible crowing." Bataille has been called a "metaphysician of evil," specializing in blasphemy, profanation, and horror. Story of the Eye, written in 1928, is his best-known work; it is unashamedly surrealistic, both disgusting and fascinating, and packed with seemingly endless violations. It's something of an underground classic, rediscovered by each new generation. Most recently, the Icelandic pop singer Björk Guðdmundsdóttir cites Story of the Eye as a major inspiration: she made a music video that alludes to Bataille's erotic uses of eggs, and she plans to read an excerpt for an album. Warning: Story of the Eye is graphically sexual, and is only for adults who are not easily offended.

Psychopathia Sexualis (2006).avi

Krafft-Ebing wrote and published several articles on psychiatry, but his book 'Psychopathia Sexualis' became his best-known work. Krafft-Ebing intended it as a forensic reference for doctors and judges and wrote in a high academic tone, noting in the introduction that he had "deliberately chosen a scientific term for the name of the book to discourage lay readers". He also wrote "sections of the book in Latin for the same purpose". Despite this, the book was highly popular with lay readers and was printed and translated many times.

Matana MiShamayim (2003) aka Gift from Above.avi

It's quite difficult to place 'Present from the Skies' into a well-defined corner. It's an Israeli film, but it does not look too much as other Israeli films. On one hand it is done with a professionalism and story telling skills that very few Israeli films have. It does borrow some elements of the so called 'burekas' comedies - genre inspired from the life of the development towns or suburbs in the 70s or 80s, but it dares to deal with issues related to the life and habits of some of the Israeli social groups in a manner that exceeds many of the self-imposed limits other Israeli creators place on themselves.

The film deals with the Georgian community in Israel, and is half spoken in Georgian, and from this point of view reminds other ethnic films in the world cinema. The way the director Dover Koshashvili - of Georgian origin himself - approaches aspects of the family relations and especially the attitude towards women is of an extreme, almost cruel realism, and all is done with no intention of programmatic social or moral judgment. The director focuses on creating the right atmosphere, depicting a world, and inviting the viewer to judge by himself. Good acting adds to this movie which offers an experience different of all other Israeli movies that you may have seen.
