Dorei (2007) New Tokyo Decadence.avi

New Tokyo Decadence -The Slave (奴隷 Dorei) (2007) is a Japanese pinku film directed by Osamu Satō and starring Rinako Hirasawa and Kikujiro Honda. This film was shown in Japan in 2007 and then at the San Francisco Independent Film Festival on February 7, 2009 on a double feature with S&M Hunter. Rinako Hirasawa won the Best Actress award at the Pink Grand Prix 2007, and the film was chosen 9th best pink release of the year.

The main character in New Toyko Decadence is Rina, a young woman who works her way through school as a dominatrix. Rina thinks she has seen it all until she lands a job as a secretary for a sadistic alpha male. The new boss latches on to her and rather soon, he taps into her inner masochist. The couple maintain regular appearances in the office but play games when they are alone. The dynamic between the pair is interrupted by a co-worker, who Rina ultimately marries. Rina gives up the underground lifestyle in exchange for domestic normalcy but her urge for pain leads her back towards her old boss.

Anyone familiar with pink films knows that what really makes these projects tick is how the filmmaker integrates the mandatory components (i.e., sex) with the story and characters. New Toyko Decadence does a fine job in connecting the elements into a flowing film. The scenes of real BDSM, including an elaborate setup in an underground club, are as painful as they are authentic. Least one get the impression that this is a "heavy" film, the tone is generally light.

As mentioned earlier, New Tokyo Decadence has roots in reality:Akira Fukuhara's screenplay is based partly on the experiences of the lead actress Rinako Hirasawa. The film's mixture of biography and fiction adds an interesting spin to the viewing experience. Is the female point of view diluted by the portrayal of the lead as a submissive or is it enhanced by the truth of the character's story? Once again, this an issue for the individual viewer to sort through but the fact that New Tokyo Decadence raises such a question is an indication of its uniqueness.

Anti-Clock (1980).avi

Sebastianne Saville stars as a young fellow who reacts to the modern, atom-dominated society by withdrawing from it. He 'makes peace' with the threat of nuclear holocaust by wandering aimlessly about, refusing to be bound by minutes, hours or days. Originally conceived as a short film by producer Jack Bond and director Jane Arden, ANTI-CLOCK was given the feature length treatment to contain its ambitious subject matter.

A complex and fascinating experimental exploration of time and identity. 'Anti-Clock' is a film of authentic, startling originality. Brilliantly mixing cinema and video techniques, Arden and Bond have created a movie that captures the anxiety and sense of danger that has infiltrated the consciousness of so many people in western society. Filled with high tension and high intelligence, Anti-Clock is mysterious, disturbing, fascinating and exciting'. (Jack Kroll, Newsweek)

Natasha (Kim van Kooten) goes to Limburg to collect her brother Ramses (Hans Teeuwen), who has joined a sect, prying him from the cult so he can consent to cutting their father's life support. The cult's leader Pieter Bouwman frowns upon sexual activity and, to prevent sex from happening, they have put a kind of lock, self-applied by way of piercing on the male member's penises. Ramses slowly develops a mind of his own and falls in love with Natasha's roommate, Lonneke (Dijn Blom). Ramses finds out that his sister and the nursing home staff are essentially trying to kill his father (Peer Mascini), and ends up delivering his father to a crackpot zealous Palestinian who prophesies the return of Christ. In the meantime, the cult is also out to get Ramses back, but Ramses now is unwilling to return to mandatory celibacy.
