Kompilacja wydana 24 marca 1980 roku przez Capitol czyli amerykańskie "rodzynki" w cieście. Jest to amerykańska odpowiedź na dwa lata wcześniej wydany podobny album przez brytyjski Parlophone. Tak prawdę mówiąc "rodzynków" tu co kot napłakał. Ocena: 2-.

(stereo, a piece that ended the original British release of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band but was not included on the American version of the album. It consists of a few seconds of 15 kilohertz tone (similar to a dog whistle) followed by two seconds of laughter and noise on the runout groove. The tone is not included on this album but the laughter and noise are featured just before the actual runout groove. It has since been restored, including the high-pitch tone, for all worldwide CD versions of Sgt. Pepper).

To kolejny przykład "rodzimego" importu czyli płyta przywożona kiedyś z wschodniej części Niemiec. Album został wydany przez DDR-owską Amigę w 1965 roku w wersji monofonicznej, a i tak cieszył się wzięciem. W wersji prezentowanej tej płyty wszystkie zawarte na niej nagrania są już ustereofonicznione (cóż to za karkołomne słowo). Ocena: 3. Side 1 01. She Loves You 02. Misery 03. A Taste Of Honey 04. Ciekawa kompilacja z 1964 roku przygotowana przez Odeon Records na rynek urugwajski. W nawiasie podaje tytuły utworów w wersji oryginalnej. Jeśli chodzi o nagrania The Beatles jakie można bylo zdobyć w naszym kraju to było to możliwe praktycznie tylko dzięki prywatnemu importowi z krajów ościennych i to też w niezbyt hurtowych ilościach. Jednym z głównych dostarczycieli płyt były Węgry, a następnie Niemcy z strefą Wschodnią (NRD) i Zachodnią (RFN). Poniżej prezentowana płyta to produkt na rynek zachodnio niemiecki ale w tym przypadku ten album akurat nie był powszechnie dostępny. Płyta została wydana w 1964 roku przez Odeon, a pierwszeństwo zakupu czy też jej posiadania mieli członkowie klubu "Dutsche Buch Gemeinschaft". Jest to jednak ciekawa kompilacja i zasługuje na szerszą "promocję" co też po 46 latach od jej wydania czynię. Ocena: 3-. Side 1 01. She Loves You 02. Thank You Girl 03. From Me To You 04. Album wraz z płytą bonusową wydany 17 listopada 2003 roku przez Apple Records to nic innego jak ostatni album studyjny The Beatles z 1970 roku ("Let It Be"). Ten album różni się od tamtego tym, że wszystkie utwory zostały ponownie zremiksowane pod pilnym okiem Paul'a McCartney'a. W ten sposób jak dla mnie 'Let It Be" zostało najnormalniej popsute gdyż tutaj za dużo jest samego McCartney'a. Do płyty dołączono specjalny bonusowy disc "Fly On the Wall" zawierający 22 minutowy zapis rozmów i pracy nad utworami zespołu podczas sesji do "Let It Be" w 1969 roku. Przy tej drugiej płycie proszę nie zwracać uwagi na czasy poszczególnych jej fragmentów bo to mija się z celem. Ocena: 2+. Disc 1 ("Let It Be 2003") 01. "Get Back" 2:34 02. "Dig a Pony" 3:38 03. Ten album kompilacyjny wydany 13 listopada 2000 roku przez Apple, Parlophone i Capitol ujrzał światło dzienne w wersji kompaktowej (1 płyta) i winylowej (2 płyty). Powód, dla którego brytyjczycy i amerykanie postanowili wydać tę płytę był taki, iż właśnie w 2000 roku wypadała 30 rocznica rozwiązania działalności The Breatles. Tytuł płyty ma tutaj niejako podwójne znaczenie bowiem nawiązuje do pierwszego wydawnictwa EP ("The Beatles One") oraz do zawartości tego albumu. Tę zawartość stanowią wszystkie single zespołu, które dotarły do pierwszego miejsca brytyjskiej i amerykańskiej listy przebojów. Chyba już nie muszę pisać, że to prawdziwa uczta. Gwoli wyjaśnienia autorzy kompilacji postanowili co nieco zostawić pewne sprawy tak jak to było z historyczną prawdą i dlatego pierwsze trzy nagrania słyszymy w wersji mono. Ocena: 5-. 01.
